Second grade students recently completed a research project on an animal of their choice.  Information was gathered from books as well as various websites.  After collecting information, students used questions to help them organize their facts into a report.  As a culminating activity, students used ordinary materials to create extraordinary models of their animals.  These masterpieces were displayed in the library for all to enjoy!

Spring is in full swing in 1st grade at Selman Elementary School!  Students have been very busy learning about the life cycles of plants and insects.  Their learning has been enhanced by the vibrant environment of the 400 hallway!  Great art work Mrs. Kelley!

Selman Elementary students did an excellent job raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
This year's total was $3,398.95! Second graders were the top collectors with $989.06!  WAY TO GO!!!!!

These are some of the questions Selman Elementary third graders asked a group of college students that volunteered their time to visit them.
